Happy April Fool DAY!
ARE you fooled? haha! I almost was. a few days ago hujun sent me a text msg telling me to keep myself free on april fool night.. i sensed something is amiss... she told me it is just a simple dinner together. ok. simple dinner.
ytd morning i asked her where is she going to bring me to... "fish&Co" oh. at that time, I knew what trick she's up to. invite me to stand on the chair and sing me a song... something like that? IMM fish & Co staff all very wild and fun. in the end we didn't dine at fish&co. i was abit sick of their food although the ambience is great.
we had dinner at secret receipe instead. this is what happened.
huijun: hmm... what about secret receipe?
yiling: where?
huijun: behind you.
yiling: oh.. ok. lets go and take a look at the menu first.
huijun: ok. you march over there... lead us.
( in my mind: something is fishy... why do i have to lead the way)i kept looking on the mirror while strolling there.. checking what they were up to. haha.yiling: huiyang, secret receipe not that cheap leh.. within your budget? are you sure you want this?
huiyang: i am ok with it.
( mind: usually hy doesnt think so fast.. she will consider for awhile.. but that day.. i was sure some plans have been made)huijun: how you think of the food here? the tom yam kung is nice
manager: good evening, the food here is all delicious.
and she went on introducing the food..

huijun: so how? you like it?
yiling: hmm... i am alright la...
manager: you can have the cake here.. cheesecake.. blah blah blah...
( mind: maybe they got a cake for me already)we stood there for sometime.. until there was one customer going in.. den we stepped back...huijun: ok. lets eat this. we try something fun. you walk straight in to that red sofa and sit down... we follow behind you.
yiling: ok!
i walked 2 steps huijun told me not to look. -.- confused liao...huijun: come back.
yiling: huh?!
yiling: ok... nvm. let huiyang take the lead. i have never seen huiyang breaking rules before.
huijun and i continue talking about our childish plans.. meanwhile hy did not dash in.. she followed the rule.. walked to the manager and waited to be seated. haha...the childish huijun and i stood behind the line and counted to 3 before running in for the red sofa sit.huijun got to the sit first... ha. i was the last.
manager: oh! congratulations! you are the 100th customer of the day! i've got a present for you.
yiling: me? really?
manager: yes. being slow is not a bad thing. you won yourself something.
yeah. i got a present!
the 100th customer.
