Most Singaporeans have this same sentiment:
what is at the end of a long line is something worth queueing for.
I totally agree to it! some of us can blindly queue for it without asking if is it the correct queue for them...

yesterday i went to the poly clinic and waited there for 3+hours before i can finally get out of the place! that is really very SLOW! at the hospital referral station, there is no proper system. at first I thought have to queue over there.. so stood close to the counter. Soon later a LONG QUEUE was formed behind me. -.- All of us stood there idiotically for 5-10minutes, before realising that the queue isn't moving at all. strange. no one complained. I got very tired of waiting so asked the nurse. why isn't the queue moving?

"you don't have to queue, actually. go back there and take a sit. we will call your name."

"what the!"

either the nurse is blind or we are invisible. there are about 10 of us queueing and she didn't inform us that our names will be called systematically. whatever...

ytd tuition class was cancelled. peiting and i went swimming instead. swimming with my little cousin was FUN. i will sure want to go with her again. she taught me backstroke, freestyle and butterfly.... only mastered the first two styles...

anyway, i just visited Temasek hall(TH) room the other day. i was given a single room, instead of the double that i've applied for. i felt cheated. in my nus accomodation status it is written double. why did it turn out to be single. too bad i couldn't withdraw from it since i've already make an advanced payment of $450. no choice. i gotta try sleeping alone now. here comes my life to independence...

later i am going NUH for follow-up health check and i am bringing mummy over to my new room :))

The best way to make sure you get up on time is to get your best friend to give you a morning call. I have proven it very effective. You are really going to guilty if your friend made the effort to wake up at 5am just for your seek yet you return to bed. yeap. ytd i left home at 6am b'cos i want to surprise my dearest colleagues. I've never go to work that early before. It is an achievement for me ok. the OSO Adeline was the first to see me. she was of cos very happy! sitting at the front counter is not her job actually. she does it out of kindness. usually the others who are supposed to mend the counter come only after 7am. good-hearted Adeline always help selflessly. thank you! and all the other teachers asked why did i come so early today(an expected qn from them)

why I came early? Not because it was my last day. but b'cos I'm going shopping after that =x hehehe...

Oliver is even funnier! he asked if i dress nicely b'cos it was my last day. I told him that I am going gai gai. Then V cut in and said i dressed better the day before. so Oliver inferred that i went out with my bf the day before and I'm going out with another boy today-.-" (wu hua ke shuo)

stella, AM halik and OM lee treated the whole office canadian pizza that day. It was actually a farewell party for me. seriously, i felt touched. Too bad mdm normi and shuli weren't there at the party.

this was taken about 3 mths ago...

i just got hired by my aunt to teach peiting with her core subjects(maths and sci)... Not sure how long that will last.. But I don't think I can commit to teach for long =x afterall i am not that good at multi-tasking... aNYway, I am accepted by temasek hall :) this coming friday i'll be going down to make the advance rental payment and nxt week my hall orientation will begin...

wow! so many camps going on...

school starts on 4aug yet lessons only begin one week after 4aug... cos 1st week is orientation week... yayy... shiok right? it means i've approx 3 more weeks before i start reading up on engineering stuff... hohoho...

I just bought a black and white acer 4920 series laptop :D seems like it would be hard for me to sleep tonight... now trying to install as many programmes and transfer as many files as i can...
