mr halik our "boss" is giving us a day off to pay off our hard work. bullshit. he loves to talk crap. he loves to hold a bag of money in front of my eyes like hanging pendulum.. swing it left and right... luring me. Sometimes he remind me of ben... big yet childish. =x however having such people around surely makes life less boring.

I just missed weikoon's singing competition finale. last month he still happily told me that if he can get into the finals he will invite me to his live performance. crap. in the end he told me thru msn that he had lost the competition. the finals was held last friday and i was told today. anyway, don't get too disappointed. 4th is not bad ok. cant wait to hear him sing someday. i am so curious how good he is...

hang out with peiting today. i don't know what happened to us... we kept laughing non-stop. every little comment given by us can make us giggle for a minute. I felt like we were on 'xiao xiao' drugs... haha. " some laughters are contagious" Sometimes when i started laughing, i find it hard to stop. because most of the time i end up laughing at the way i am laughing. blur? it means i am amused by my own laughter. funny isn't it. self-entertained. do i sound crazy?
I admit i am a slow person. it takes 1 minute for me to absorb a joke and start laughing after that. and my laughter usually takes awhile to fade. haha... mummy and yun yun shld noe. =x
I am not very good at telling jokes. because i usually start laughing before the joke is delivered. in the end, nobody understands my joke. how sad.

what i am trying to say is... i had a GREAT TIME laughing today. :D

bugis street D-24!

shopping day with mom...
our main objective was to buy yun's stuff... true eugh. mostly yun's stuff... whenever i see something nice there.. i will tell myself "there mayb better ones in US.. save it up and spend all there.." lOL. US exchange rate is still falling. woohoo... currently 1.34
gor predict that it will go lower.

second time to night safari... this time i went with my parents. papa drove mummy over first while i took 927. i waited damn long for that bus. i left home at 745, but reached there only at 830! can you imagine? night safari is so near to my hse yet i took me 45minutes! i simply dislike waiting. ( that's why known as taddy queen)

we hop on to the tram which bring us one complete round around night safari. as usual, mummy fell asleep on the tram. i am not sure if they had enjoyed themselves. i hope they did. they seemed very tired after the tram ride... so i told them to go back first. i lingered awhile longer at the gift shop. bought an otter kychain for yun.

on the bus back, i met faiz... he just finished work @night safari. he is like an iron man to me... work in zoo and night safari from morning till night.. yet he can still beso lively and happy. No trace of tiredness in his smiling eyes at all! what is his secret behind it?

xiuli's baby brother's 1 year old bday. he is SO chubby! a very well-fed child. haha.. nice to pinch and hug... just like a teddy bear. we gave him a cap and bobdog polo tshirt. xiuli passed me a belated bday present in return. lol. seems like i will take bday present every month. always belated one. it's ok. sincerity is more important.

pay DAY! i just received my tuition pay :)) though it is not alot... i am happy enough. hehe... spent part of the money right after mrs tang handed it to me. almost every month some salesperson will come down to our school and sell good stuff. today the chocolate and sweets vendor come down. i bought fish rolls( something like cuttle fish) from them. mr tan gave me a box of chocs as token of appreciation. apparently, i've been a good source help for him.

Let me recall what happened this week. HmMm...
sunday i did something bad. I skipped work. That day, I told myself i am going to type out a resignation letter. true enough, on tuesday... i sent my boss an email. too bad she did not accept my resignation. she wanted to meet me in person.

on friday i went down to spore zoo together with my typed out letter. yup. it was approved. i returned her my punch card and walked out with a smile. i saw anthony in the coporate office too. now den i know he is only 17... waiting for his enlistment in june. he is so young. apparently he requested for early enlistment. nxt week still need to make another trip down to the zoo.. need to return 3 sets of uniform and my name tag. no more free trips to bird park, night safari and zoo anymore. it is alright. i'll have mre leisure time now! :)) MAY is coming!! :D

meet up with peiting again for a short tutoring session. she asked me alot of bio qns.. so sorry i have returned most of my bio knowledge to mr tan. i bet i didnt help much. but at least i have tried my best in helping la... what chromosome.. ribosome.. vacuole.. i forgot all their functions already =x

anyway... i am going to start my first paid tutoring job this coming tuesday. my colleague wants me to teach her son. a sec 3 amaths student. yeap. i am teaching him a maths. gonna revise my secondary maths. shld be no problem. =) the pay is rather pathetic. $15/hr. I told my mom the rate... she kept "pouring cold water".. saying that even hsekeeper earns more. $50/time. i knew she will react that way. but still, sometimes i hope she can come out of her old self. say something pleasant for my ears.. like " it's ok. this is ur first time. you will find better rate nxt time"

i feel great this morning. i was not awaken by my alarm. in fact i did not set any alarm. haha.. no work on saturday. it feels fantastic. can laze on bed w/o worries. papa drove me down to ica for passport collection. after that went gym with himlim and weiting. i ran 4 laps nia. lol.
now i got the "so many things yet so little time" feeling again.

wild wild wet :)

met ml and tik at sembawang platform and we trained down to pasir ris together.
dark clouds started gathering when we were nearing pasir ris...
i kept calling my "pasir ris" friend to check if the weather is fine there.. haha!
she is none other than rachel! we've planned a bday surprise for atikah. rachel and her secondary sch frens were supposed to have breakfast with tik. they deliberately told tik that they couldn't make it for the meal... i guess tik must have felt very disappointed.

rachel and her sec sch frends did not pang seh tik. they were waiting outside WWW all along. haha.. mingli and i were supporters of their plan. ;) the surprise was well-covered. it went so well that tik didn't know what to say when she saw rachel and family. totally speechless.

last friday was wgs sports day. i was given the choice. either to the office or to the stadium. i chose the office. hehe... the OM brought food back from the stadium. it was supposed to be for teachers. but someone secretly passed one to me.. hehe.. :D

in the evening i went to BBP again to tutor my sweet cousin, peiting. she is also keeping roboroski! hers is the white faced type. they cost $38 each! she bought 2 females. little gal spending more on her pets den me! i have already spent 100 over bucks on my ichiko and robert. she? i guess more than 200 dollars.
