It is an early morning
Cool breeze caressing my face
I had a bad night
a night in pain
great pain.
.
The pain caused insomnia
I was praying for a guardian angel to heal my pain
Unfortunately nobody turns up
Everyone was on their comfy bed
I was the only one
only one in pain.
.
Walked around in my house
from rooms to rooms
got into my parents' room
slept with them for awhile
my mum didn't realise I was lying beside her
she placed her heavy arms on my face
I walked back to my bedroom.
Eventually,
The tears put me to sleep like a painkiller.
